Your new role
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in delivering a portfolio of infrastructure projects within a framework environment. You will take ownership of significant work packages, providing fullmercial management from procurement through to final account.
Key responsibilities will include:
1. Managing themercial performance of multiple projects or packages
2. Leading subcontract procurement and managing supply chain relationships
3. Producing and presenting CVRs, forecasts (EAC/ETC), andmercial reports
4. Administering NEC contracts, includingpensation events and change control
5. Managing and mentoring junior Quantity Surveyors
6. Working closely with operational teams and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
7. Maintaining strong client relationships and supportingmercial strategy
(This is a hybrid role with a mix of office and working from home.)
What you'll need to succeed
8. Proven experience operating as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within a Tier 1 or major contractor environment
9. Strong working knowledge of NEC contracts (essential)
10. Experience managing large-scale infrastructure or civils packages
11. Demonstrable experience producing CVRs, forecasts, and managing project finances
12. Experience managing or mentoring juniormercial staff
13. Strongmunication skills with the ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders
14. Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline (or equivalent)
(Experience within water, utilities, or regulated frameworks is highly advantageous)
