Position: Program Manager
The Program Manager is responsible for the development and execution of a portfolio of projects and programs within the organization. This role involves ensuring that all aspects of the program are completed on time and within budget, and acting as a liaison between project teams and key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead multiple project activities throughout their lifecycle, ensuring completion within scope, quality, time, and budget constraints.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and project managers to plan and develop project scope, deliverables, resources, work plans, budgets, and timelines.
3. Develop and control project deadlines and budgets, applying change, risk, and resource management strategies.
4. Resolve high-level scope issues and assess program strengths to identify areas for improvement.
5. Ensure goals related to customer satisfaction and team performance are met.
6. Implement and manage changes to achieve project objectives.
7. Maintain transparent communication with stakeholders regarding project issues and decisions.
8. Produce accurate and timely reports on program status throughout its lifecycle.
9. Analyze program risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
* Minimum of 3+ years experience in Project and/or Program Management.
* Experience working in an Agile development environment.
* Proven track record of leading hardware, software, and system development projects.
* Preferably background in automotive or fast-paced technology environments, with electric vehicle experience being advantageous.
* Knowledge of Cyber Security and Functional Safety requirements in the automotive industry is desirable.
Skills
* Strong communication, organizational, planning, and time management skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
* Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills to work effectively across all organizational levels, including with suppliers and external customers.
Additional Requirements
* Ability to lead multi-functional global teams and define system and product roadmaps aligned with customer and business priorities.
* Experience in defining business cases for new opportunities and implementing product cost roadmaps.
* Capability to lead Change Management projects in line with customer and company needs.
* Customer-facing project management skills.
* Experience managing new technology developments in the heavy vehicle industry.
