About The Role
At HC-One, we are looking for enthusiastic and committed Care Assistants to join our Flex Force team. This role provides an opportunity to earn extra income while gaining valuable experience in the care sector. You’ll receive a permanent contract with guaranteed hours and set monthly pay, and you can choose shifts that fit around your lifestyle.
Shifts are scheduled Monday‑Sunday and may include days, nights, weekends, or non‑consecutive days. As a Flex Force Care Assistant, you’ll be required to travel between a cluster of care homes—including Avalon Park, OL4 5HG, and Sandon House, OL5 0JG—and provide care at each site. Flexibility is key to support the unique needs of each home while keeping control over your schedule.
Responsibilities
As a flexible Care Assistant, you’ll deliver kindness and high‑quality care across our dementia, nursing, residential, and specialist homes. Key duties include:
* Supporting residents with personal care activities such as washing, hygiene, dressing, and assistance with meals.
* Assisting residents with limited mobility.
* Monitoring the well‑being of residents on and off site.
A driving licence with access to a vehicle is advantageous but not essential.
Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. You will be required to recognise signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and to take appropriate action, including escalation if necessary. All colleagues attend safeguarding training and may undertake further training in related areas.
Qualifications
• No formal qualifications required, but experience in residential or nursing care is desirable.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
• Good organisational and communication skills.
