We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and experienced Podiatrist to join our small rural team providing podiatric interventions to the population of Shetland.

Appointment at Band 5 will be for an initial period of supervision and mentorship, with progression to Band 6 under Annex 21, and following this period will have progressed to working autonomously.
The post is based at Lerwick health centre, with other clinics held at the Gilbert Bain hospital, outlying health centres, domiciliary visits and care homes. Ability and willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery is essential for this post.
As a Specialist Podiatrist you will coordinate, develop and lead aspects of this service as well as provide high quality care in general podiatry. The post holder will also have the opportunity to work in specialist clinics, namely MSK, diabetes and wound care and rotational nail surgery clinics.

We are seeking an individual with excellent communication skills and the ability to work as a team player.
