Super Smart Service Ltd (SSS) was established in December 2015 in the West Midlands, UK. We are a large-scale multinational logistics company under the Zong Teng Group.

Our core business is to support Chinese cross‑border e-commerce sellers as well as UK-based online retailers by providing reliable warehousing solutions and efficient international fulfilment and delivery services. We originally started by offering fulfilment warehousing and last‑mile delivery services for cross‑border e-commerce clients and UK online retailers such as eBay, Amazon, and other platforms.

Over the past few years, we have developed strong working relationships with logistics partners including Royal Mail, Yodel, Evri, China Post, DPD, XDP, Palletways, as well as Goodcang, YunExpress, and other global logistics providers. Currently, we operate 18 warehouses across the UK, and our business continues to expand. Our sites are located in Walsall, Lichfield, Cannock, Worcester, Wolverhampton, Stone, Derby, and Alfreton.


About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and commercially aware HR Specialist to deliver business‑focused HR services across multiple UK warehouse locations. This pivotal role requires close collaboration with managers and employees to provide expert HR advice and guidance, ensuring compliance with UK employment law while fostering a positive and productive working environment.

The HR Specialist will remain closely aligned with evolving business needs, providing tailored support to warehouse teams and maintaining a strong understanding of operational requirements.

* Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm (flexibility required)
* Monthly hours: 176 hours
* Contract type: Full‑time
* Requirement: Willingness to work across different locations based on business needs


Key Responsibilities

* Act as the first point of contact for HR‑related queries across designated business areas, working closely with warehouse management to align HR strategies with business objectives
* Manage day‑to‑day HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, payroll processing, and employee exits
* Support employee relations cases, including disciplinaries, grievances, and absence management
* Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date employee records, working hours, and HR system data in real time
* Identify and report business needs (qualitative and quantitative) related to growth, employee wellbeing, attrition, and risk, translating insights into actionable HR initiatives
* Deliver HR upskilling workshops to promote best practice, ensure awareness of legislative updates, and coach warehouse managers on HR processes such as performance management and bonus scheme changes
* Ensure compliance with UK employment law and company policies to minimise organisational risk


The Ideal Candidate

* Must have the legal right to work in the UK at least 1.5 year; sponsorship for a Skilled Worker visa may be considered
* Strong background in HR or a related field, with experience engaging senior stakeholders and influencing decision‑making is preferred
* Fluent in both English and Chinese (written and spoken), as communication with HQ in China is required
* Experience in onboarding, HR documentation, basic payroll, compliance, and risk management is preferred
* A consultative and solution‑oriented approach, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and drive change
* Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
* Passion for leadership development, coaching, and continuous improvement
