In this critical role, you'll apply your engineering expertise to assess concessions, deviation permits, and non-conformances - ensuring continued safety, reliability, and operational excellence. Responsibilities Non-Conformance Authority for all Defence Aero & Naval products. Analyse non-conforming product against all potential application(s) and customer requirements to determine any adverse impacts on fit, form, function, product safety or visual condition within its intended use(s). Identify root causes of non-conformance and develop effective corrective actions. Use of lean methods and approaches to drive continuous improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions and prevent recurrence. Conduct thorough inspections and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Provide technical expertise and guidance to internal teams on non-conformance issues. To be successful in this role you will need to: Hold a degree in a STEM subject or demonstrate equivalent experience in a relevant engineering environment. Possess strong technical, problem-solving, and system-level thinking skills. Be highly proficient in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) to support definition alterations and non-conformance decisions. Be a strong communicator who can manage stakeholder expectations and priorities effectively. Demonstrate personal drive, ownership, and the ability to contribute effectively in a team environment.
