Many graduates are passionate about education but are unsure where to begin. This Graduate Pathway is designed to bridge that gap, providing opportunities to gain valuable experience in schools while exploring different roles within education.
Through TailorEDucation, you will build classroom confidence, support students’ learning, and gain the hands-on experience often required before progressing into teacher training. You will also have access to free CPD training to support your development throughout your journey.
Graduates entering education do not always begin in teaching roles. Instead, many start in support-based positions that allow them to develop essential classroom skills.
Some common roles include:
• Teaching Assistant
• Learning Support Assistant
• Cover Supervisor
You will develop key skills such as classroom management, communication, adaptability, and confidence working with young people.
About the School/Setting
TailorEDucation works with a wide range of schools, colleges, and community settings. Our partner environments are inclusive and supportive, working with diverse groups of young people, including those with special educational needs and vulnerable backgrounds.
