Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator/ Accounts Assistant to join our small but dynamic team. The successful candidate will be involved in processing weekly payroll for 95 staff, together with helping to manage financial records, ensuring accurate data entry and supporting various accounting functions. This position requires proficiency in payroll and accounting software, making it ideal for individuals with a background in both.
This is a part time role, 12 hours - two days per week, with the salary shown as payable on a Pro Rata basis
Duties
* Processing weekly payroll using payroll software, ideally Bright HR, but training can be given.
* Maintain and update financial records as and when required, using accounting software such as QuickBooks or similar
* Assisting team members with data entry tasks to ensure accurate and timely processing of management accounts.
* Support the HR management by maintaining accurate employee records within Bright HR software.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in using payroll software.
* Good working knowledge of HMRC legislation regarding payroll.
* Strong data entry skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
* Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise effectively with team members and management.
* Proficiency in accounting software, particularly QuickBooks or similar platforms.
* Background in finance/ payroll is preferred.
