About The Role

As an Electrical Quality Engineer, you will play a key role in project delivery. You will collaborate with the Project Manager and a multidisciplinary team of engineers and industry experts to ensure project specifications are met by developing and executing Leo Lynch's project quality plans.


Responsibilities

* Develop project-specific quality inspection plans that comply with employer requirements and country-specific electrical regulations.
* Lead quality initiatives through training, toolbox talks, mock-up approvals, audits, and QA programs, promoting a ‘Right First Time’ approach.
* Manage the Quality team including Field QA, Test Pack Engineers, NDT Specialists, and Commissioning & Handover Supervisors.
* Maintain and update project databases to ensure accurate documentation for client handover.
* Review benchmarks and first-of-a-kind installations.
* Oversee the development of system and equipment test packs using project quality management software.
* Coordinate with clients regarding handover documentation, system handover, and tagging schedules.
* Collaborate with construction teams on handover, walk-downs, and snag list development.
* Monitor snag trends and address issues with construction teams.
* Review installations for compliance with Leo Lynch’s Quality Plans, ITPs, standards, and specifications.
* Oversee third-party inspections and ensure subcontractor QA compliance.
* Conduct regular site quality audits and participate in quality meetings, reporting on quality metrics.


Requirements

* Degree in Electrical Engineering.
* Electrical trade background is advantageous.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
* Strong knowledge of electrical systems and schematics.
* Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, organizational, and planning skills.
* Proficiency in MS Office and quality management software.
* Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
