Overview
Advanced Clinical Pharmacist and Teacher-Practitioner role at Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust. This opportunity is to enhance clinical and professional skills within the Specialist Mental Health Pharmacist Training Pathway delivered by the University of Bradford and to work as a pharmacist in community mental health teams in Bradford District and Craven.
Main duties
* Support the delivery of the Specialist Mental Health Pharmacist Training Pathway and work as a pharmacist in community mental health teams.
* Provide, develop and promote a responsive, patient-focused, highly specialised pharmacy service to patients and staff within Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust.
* Provide direct supervision and training to pharmacy staff; develop and provide training regarding the use of medicines and medicines management principles to clinical staff, non-clinical staff, service users and carers.
* Contribute to teaching and assessment at undergraduate and postgraduate levels across the School of Pharmacy and Medical Sciences for the Specialist Mental Health Pharmacist Training Pathway and MPharm programme.
Responsibilities (additional)
* As part of the role with the community mental health teams, work to support new models of integrated primary and community mental health care for adults and older adults with moderate to severe mental health problems.
Requirements / Qualifications
* Qualified pharmacist with clinical pharmacy knowledge and excellent communication skills.
* Experience in mental health pharmacy and teaching/education activities preferred.
