Vehicle Technician / Mechanic required in Walton-on-Thames:
1. Salary: Negotiable Basic Salary Circa £38,000 Basic DOE + £44,200 OTE + 42.5 Hours per week + Saturday mornings on a rotational basis
2. Hours: 42.5 hours per week, includes Saturday mornings on a rotational basis

Recognised for their excellent reputation and extensive vehicle brand portfolio, they are looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join their team in Walton on Thames. This vital role supports the Workshop Department through vehicle servicing, repairs, and diagnostics, contributing to the dealership's ongoing success. Key Responsibilities as an MOT Technician:
4. Conduct vehicle servicing, checks, and routine maintenance following manufacturer guidelines
5. Diagnose vehicle faults and identify appropriate repairs
6. Replace faulty parts and components efficiently and accurately
7. Advise Vehicle Service Receptionists on necessary repairs
8. Provide accurate time estimates for repairs and services
9. Maintain comprehensive repair and service records
10. Test repaired systems to ensure quality and safety standards
Requirments for this MOT Technician role:
11. At least 3 years' experience within a Main Dealership as a Service or Diagnostic Vehicle Technician, or similar workshop environment
12. NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent
13. Strong diagnostic skills and knowledge of vehicle systems
14. Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
15. Good communication skills and a professional attitude
16. Motivated to develop as a vehicle technician and progress within the automotive industry
