Venatu Recruitment are proud to announce that a new client of ours who are specialists within the Fire Protection industry are now looking for a Fire Sprinkler Design Engineer to join them as soon as possible. They pride themselves on being a leading figure within the industry offering several different Fire Protection & Sprinkler services such as design, fabrication, installation and commissioning for residential, commercial and industrial applications. They have been trading for almost 40 years with a consistent focus on delivering the highest quality service and have an enviable reputation within the industry. The role is to join the team as soon as possible.
Responsibilities
* Ensure clients/ insurers requirements are adhered to at all times.
* Work closely with the project team to ensure designs are completed on time and to the technical submissions standard.
* Be involved in drawing and calculations to ensure compliance within the relevant fire sprinkler system standards.
* Comply with relevant documents to tender works from a client’s initial inquiry.
* Carry out site surveys prior to design and collate the required information.
* Complete ISO-9001 paperwork relating to projects.
Experience & Qualifications
* LPCB Basic - mandatory.
* LPCB intermediate or LPCB FHC - not essential but would be an advantage.
* Auto CAD 2D (essential).
* Experience of carrying out site surveys, attending client meetings and site installations.
* Minimum of 5 years' experience within Sprinkler Industry.
* CSCS Card desirable but not essential.
* Customer care/relationship building skills.
* Able to work as a member of a team and without direct supervision.
* Able to conduct surveys on site and deal directly with customers in a professional manner and represent the company.
* UK driving license; this position is primarily office based but with travel being a significant part of completing the role.
