Job Title:ElectricianReporting To:SupervisorHours of Work: Mon Fri 07:30 16:30Role OverviewThis role will be responsible for the delivery of electrical maintenance, installation, inspection, testing & servicing across a wide range of sectors. The role will involve ensuring all works are carried outto required customer standards while upholding safety guidelines andcomplying withcodes and regulations.Key Activities / Responsibilities:Installation, servicing and maintenance of electrical systems and appliancesin accordance withthe current edition of IET Wiring Regulations to our customers properties.Inspection and testing of new and existing electrical installation and the completion ofappropriate certificatesand reports in line with BS7671.Carrying out electrical installation condition reports and Portable Appliance TestingIdentification and quantifying of electrical remedial worksEmergency Lighting Testing and reportingElectrical installation and maintenance to domestic heating systemsTo perform the jobin accordance withthe companys policies and procedures, especially the Equal Opportunities and Dignity at Work Policy.To perform any other duties as may bereasonably requiredfrom time-to-time.Education / Experience:Experienceoperatingwithin a face paced construction industry (a focus toward housing maintenance would be desirable)Strong knowledge of Health and Safety issuesNVQ Level 3 in Electrotechnical Services & Installation or equivalentCity & Guilds 18thEdition or equivalentCity & Guilds 2391 or 2394/2395 or equivalentCSR card or NVQ equivalentExperience of working in domestic/residential and commercial sectors.Comply withrequirements ofSparkSafeQualified ElectricianAsbestos AwarenessAccess NI/Security ClearanceSkills/Competencies:Good problem-solving skills and self-motivatedFlexibility to handle callouts on a rotational basisWHJS1_NI
