This is an opportunity to join a major national client organisation at a pivotal moment as it moves into contract award for large scale systems packages. You will help shape the delivery of complex works that will bring advanced rail technology to the UK network and support the future operations of a landmark high-speed railway. The role sits within the client project team overseeing the design and construction of a major rolling stock maintenance depot and integrated control centre in Birmingham. This facility will act as the primary base for the new fleet and brings together a wide range of disciplines, creating a highly engaging and technically varied delivery environment. You will take responsibility for contract preparation and delivery planning, working closely with senior stakeholders to ensure scope, cost, time and quality targets are met. This includes managing contractors, overseeing assurance and governance, monitoring change, and ensuring your project integrates effectively with adjacent programmes. You will have the freedom to influence decisions, drive solutions and play an active role in a collaborative integrated team. This position would suit a senior level Project Manager with a strong track record of delivering depot, control centre or similar railway infrastructure projects from design through to completion. It offers the chance to work on a complex, high profile scheme with excellent long term development opportunities.
