Female Personal Assistants (PA)/Support Workers x2 Job ref. PUR-392-469 About me A 44 year old bright woman is seeking two female Personal Assistants (PA’s) to work alongside each other to provide support, twice weekly, on Mondays and Fridays. The employer lives with disabilities, bi-polar disorder and is an ex-substance user, so experience or understanding in these areas would be preferred. She also has two dogs, therefore the applicants must be comfortable around dogs. Hours and rate of pay 6 hours per week, 3 hours per day-Monday and Friday from 10am. £12.21 per hour. Location Doncaster DN5 DBS/Checks Confirmation of DBS check Right to Work and references will be needed. What you would be doing… • Personal care support, including assistance with bathing (a bath lift is used) • Support to attend and travel to appointments • Laundry and bed changes on both visits • Light household chores • Assistance with shopping • Ordering and collection of medication The person I would like… Strong-minded, reliable and easy to get along with. Compassionate, respectful and able to maintain professional boundaries Experience as a PA, Support worker or in mental health and/or substance misuse support is desirable but not essential Comfortable working in a home with dogs This role would suit someone who is patient, understanding and confident, who values building a positive, supportive working relationship Driving licence and access to a car is preferrable As some personal care is involved, I would feel more comfortable with a female carer.
