Speech and Language Therapist role at TieTalent, Brookthorpe Hall School – Gloucestershire. This position is offered on a permanent basis, with options for term-time, part-time or flexible full-time contracts. Salary up to £53,200 pro rata (dependent on experience).

Hours & Contract
37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, hours to overlap with core school hours. Part-time hours may be considered. Permanent contract (term-time only or flexibility around full-time contract can be discussed based on personal circumstances).
The Role
We are looking for a Speech and Language Therapist to join our in-house clinical team at Brookthorpe Hall School. You will work collaboratively with the education team to deliver bespoke Speech and Language Therapy assessment and intervention to pupils who may have experienced developmental trauma, be neurodivergent or have SEMH needs. You will operate within the OFG Speech and Language Therapy Ways of Working, hold a caseload with support from your clinical supervisor and site lead, and contribute to staff training and consultation as required. Essential Criteria
* Undergraduate or Postgraduate degree in Speech and Language Therapy
* HCPC registered; 1-2 years experience as a fully registered member of the RCSLT in a similar setting
* Knowledge of neurodiversity and trauma-informed practice
* Experience of multidisciplinary working across settings
* Experience in communicating with/working with families and carers
* Interest in developing knowledge and skills across SaLT practice
* Strong relationship-building, analytical and judgmental skills
* Good oral and written communication skills
* Good time management and organisational skills
* Competence in core SaLT practice; understanding of RCSLT Communication Standards
* Knowledge of SaLT assessment tools, intervention types, and how to formulate support plans
* Knowledge of relevant legislation affecting clinical practice and client groups
* Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
* Willingness to attend training and work toward further qualifications
Desirable
* Understanding of sensory and motor differences affecting communication
* Understanding of arousal levels and communication
* Full driving licence and access to a car (highly desirable)
