Working in our quality assurance team, your role will be to manage compliance with suppliers and products sold within The Entertainer. You are responsible for managing the compliance processes from supplier onboarding through to supplier performance management. The role will require you to deal with internal departments at all levels, as well as partners and external suppliers. You will be an experienced QA professional with a toy industry background in compliance and possess a natural ability to communicate and articulate ideas clearly. The role requires a confident individual who possesses the ability to understand legislation, assess impact and propose action to mitigate risk to the business. Skills & Experience Intermediate/Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams. Ability to manage, lead, develop and coach a team. Full UK, valid driver's licence. Ability to read, understand and effectively summarise complex regulations in a way that is relevant and appropriate for the intended audience. Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written. Love for problem-solving and working collaboratively. Strong leadership skills. Logical, calm, patient, and possess a strategic vision. A minimum of 5 years experience in a product compliance role, preferably within the toy industry. Experience in line managing a team and developing and coaching team members Technical quality assurance or engineering qualification Responsibilities Investigate new and pending changes to compliance legislation to assess and communicate impact to the business. Create, maintain and develop compliance regulatory tracker for the department. Deliver regulatory updates to the commercial and QA teams. Manage QA supplier on-boarding process and documentation through the Brand Risk Assessment; allocate suppliers/SKUS responsibility to the team. Manage current active supplier register, ensure all suppliers have completed and returned signed required documentation. Establish, implement and maintain documented processes and procedures for the department. Lead product issues weekly meetings and management of action. Product performance monitoring and decision making. Direct management of QA Compliance Specialist and Project Coordinator. Deliver training and support members of the QA team.
