A well-established environmental consultancy is looking to appoint an Associate Acoustic Consultant to lead and rebuild its in-house acoustics capability in Surrey. The Role
Based in Surrey, you will lead acoustics projects from start to finish, acting as the technical point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders. You'll work across a varied portfolio and play a key role in developing processes, quality assurance, and best practice, while supporting wider business development.

Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
Employment and industrial facilities
Key Responsibilities
Lead and deliver acoustics projects end-to-end, ensuring high technical quality
Produce, review, and sign-off technical reports and planning submissions
Provide technical leadership to clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders
Improve internal processes, QA, and delivery standards
Reduce reliance on outsourcing by bringing acoustics work back in-house
Support business development and help grow the acoustics service line
Mentor junior team members and contribute to building a future team in Surrey
About You
We're looking for someone who can demonstrate:
Proven experience at Senior / Associate level within acoustic consultancy
Strong technical delivery and confident client-facing skills
A proactive and commercial mindset, with an interest in growing a service
