If you have a passion for property law, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are eager to grow your career in the legal field, this role could be the perfect fit for you! *Must have Scots Law Conveyancing Experience Key Responsibilities: * Support Conveyancing Solicitors: Assist conveyancing solicitors with managing property transactions from start to finish, including the preparation of documents, contracts, and other necessary paperwork. * Client Liaison: Serve as a point of contact for clients, keeping them informed and updated on the progress of their transactions. Answer queries and provide exceptional customer service throughout the process. * Document Management: Prepare and manage all documents related to property transactions, including contracts, transfer deeds, and property searches. * Data Entry & Record Keeping: Maintain accurate client files and records, ensuring that all relevant documentation is correctly filed and up-to-date in accordance with legal requirements. * Communication with Third Parties: Liaise with estate agents, mortgage brokers, and other external parties to ensure that the transaction proceeds smoothly and on time. * Legal Research: Conduct property searches and legal research to support the conveyancing team’s decision-making process. * Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the conveyancing team, including managing appointments, correspondence, and managing calendars. What We’re Looking For: * Previous Experience: Experience in a conveyancing related legal role is highly desirable. * Strong Organisational Skills: You’re highly organised and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently. * Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and accuracy, ensuring that all documents and information are correct and up-to-date. * Excellent Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, solicitors, and third parties. * Proactive and Enthusiastic: A positive attitude and a proactive approach to work, willing to take initiative and be a valuable part of the team. * IT Proficiency: Comfortable using legal software and general office applications, with a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
