We’re seeking a driven and detail-oriented Business & Operations Executive to join our dynamic laboratory team—part of a global network of over 25,000 passionate professionals.
In this pivotal role within our Global Scientific & Regulatory Affairs (GSRA) function, you’ll work closely with the Planning Manager and Head of Operational Science to lead the planning, execution, and optimisation of key business and process initiatives.
Your mission? To champion smarter, more efficient ways of working that align with our strategic goals and help us stay ahead in a fast-evolving industry.
Principle Accountabilities
* Be the backbone of our operations - Providing essential business support to the Operational Science department and the wider GSRA function, ensuring smooth operations.
* Own the numbers - Managing departmental budgets, tracking financial performance, and creating dashboards and reports for stakeholders.
* Collaborate with purpose - Building strong relationships with third-party suppliers and internal teams, working with procurement and finance to streamline processes and resolve queries.
* Drive project success - Supporting project managers with budgeting, progress tracking, and aligning financials with strategic goals.
* Champion continuous improvement - Monitoring processes, identifying efficiencies, and aligning operations with business objectives.
* Be a trusted advisor -Supporting senior leaders with business planning, ad-hoc projects, and training in financial systems and tools.
Skills and Experience Required
* Build meaningful connections – Strong relationship-building skills to foster collaboration across teams.
* Turn data into insight – Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and interpretation.
* Master the details – Managing purchase orders and invoicing accurately and efficiently.
