We are seeking an experienced Assistant Head Teacher to support the Headteacher in leading our fantastic school based in the heart of Salisbury. The Spires is a small (registered for 45), unique school for children and young people aged 6 to 18 who have experienced Trauma or would benefit from a Trauma informed approach. As Assistant Headteacher, you will support the head teacher in communicating the school's vision, strategic leadership, and day-to-day management. You will have key areas of whole school responsibility which will be negotiated further with the successful candidate. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team and be part of developing a trauma responsive culture with high expectations at its core. The Spires School is one of 8 Ofsted Registered schools Five Rivers run, so you will benefit from being part of a close knit network of Senior Leaders who regularly meet and collaborate. Five Rivers is a Social Enterprise that works with children who have experienced Trauma. In addition to our schools we have 10 Children's homes, a Nationwide Fostering Service and a well established Assessment and Therapy Team.
This is a full-time role of 37.5 hours per week, and term time follows the local authority schedule.
