We're a small UK AI startup doing something that actually matters. We build technology for frontline policing; tools designed by people who've worked the job, for people who work the job. No generic enterprise software, no solutions looking for problems. Just practical AI that helps officers and staff do their jobs better, faster, and with less paperwork.
We're at an exciting stage as we move to pilot our first product in a force and we're focused on making that deployment a genuine success. That means getting officers using it confidently, day to day, on the ground.
The Role
This isn't a desk job. We need someone who can walk into a briefing room, earn the room's respect in the first five minutes, and get frontline officers and staff genuinely engaged with new technology, not just trained on it.
You'll be part of our on-the-ground presence in the East of England, working directly with officers, supervisors, and staff to drive adoption of our AI-assisted tool. You'll understand the resistance that comes with any new system in policing, and you'll know how to work through it - practically, patiently, and with credibility.
This is a part-time role (2 days/week to start, with the opportunity to flex up as the deployment grows).
What you'll be doing
* Being present on-site at locations across the East of England, building relationships with users at all levels
* Identifying where adoption can be improved and then fixing the problem
* Supporting the development and delivery of training that actually lands with frontline officers
* Acting as the bridge between the force and our technical team; translating real-world feedback into improvements
* Helping us understand what good looks like, and making sure we get there
What we're looking for
* A genuine understanding of how operational policing works - including the culture, the pressures, the challenges of introducing new tech into policing
* Experience in change management, training, or user adoption - ideally in a policing or public sector environment
* Strong communicator - Someone comfortable talking in small and larger groups
* Organised, self-sufficient, and comfortable working in a small, fast-moving startup
A background as a former officer or police staff member would be a significant advantage, though it isn't a formal requirement. What matters most is that you understand policing and have a drive to help improve frontline processes.
