Responsibilities
* Strategic Leadership
o Develop and implement supply chain strategies that enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and support business growth.
o Align supply chain processes with the company’s overall goals and customer requirements.
o Work with the wider Teledyne business to identify synergies and cost savings.
* Procurement & Vendor Management
o Oversee sourcing strategies and manage relationships with key suppliers.
o Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
* Logistics & Distribution
o Direct logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
o Optimize logistics networks to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
* Inventory & Demand Planning
o Develop and implement inventory control strategies to minimize costs while meeting customer demands.
o Collaborate with sales and operations to forecast demand and align supply accordingly.
* Team Leadership & Development
o Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing supply chain team.
o Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and collaboration.
* Technology & Systems
o Evaluate and implement supply chain technologies (e.g., ERP and Power BI) to improve efficiency and visibility.
o Leverage data analytics to drive decision-making and performance improvements.
* Risk Management & Compliance
o Identify and mitigate supply chain risks.
o Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and environmental standards.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, or related field (MBA preferred)
* 10+ years of progressive experience in supply chain management, including 5+ years in a senior leadership role
* Strong knowledge of global supply chain processes, procurement, logistics, and inventory management
* Experience with ERP systems
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
* Strong leadership and interpersonal abilities
* Professional certifications such as CIPS
