Job Description

We are looking for two Part Time Senior Care Assistants for our Lincoln branch. The hours of work will be Week 1 – Monday thru Thursday – 7am – 10pm & Week 2 – Thursday thru Sunday – 7am – 10pm. (20 hours per week)

To perform a variety of duties to ensure that our clients receive the appropriate support and high-quality care service they deserve.

The Role.

1. Reporting to the Registered Care Director.
2. Support with reviews/spot checks
3. Maintain accurate Client and Care Professional records within our care management software.
4. Conduct initial introductions.
5. Deliver care
6. Build and maintain positive relationships with potential and existing clients, their families and other professionals involved in their care.
7. Support and mentor Care Professionals.
8. Maintain regular contact with Care Professionals.
9. Participate in “on-call” duties as and when required
10. Ensure compliance with Home Instead’s Equality, Diversity and Equal Opportunities Policy, in respect of employment and service delivery.
11. Carry out any other duties deemed necessary for the successful operation of the business.

Criteria.

12. Capable of setting high personal/professional standards so our Care Professionals take the lead from you.
13. Experience in the care sector delivering a wide range of personal care services.
14. Experience working with MAR charts and medication in a supervisory role.
15. Passion for delivering the highest quality care to our clients and helping them to live independently and happily in their own homes.
16. Knowledge and understanding of legislation and regulations specific to Health and Social Care.
17. Good communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
18. Must be confident in the use of care management technology including providing support and training to Care Professionals when using remote care applications.
19. Must understand the importance of confidentiality working within current legislation.

Qualifications

Level 2 or 3 NVQ in Health and Social Care preferred but not essential
