Position Purpose
The Project Development Lead will guide internal team members in developing high-quality proposals for new opportunities. Working closely with Business Development, Project Leadership, Designers, and Estimators, the Lead oversees the Project Development process and drives the execution of all client-facing deliverables. This role primarily supports the Fixed Market, including Location-Based Experiences (LBE) and Placemaking projects.
This position requires technical aptitude and commercial awareness, with ownership of the end-to-end Project Development process. The Lead must understand TAIT’s business, processes, and be able to identify and mitigate risks. Responsibilities include ensuring scope, schedule, and budget are clearly defined, along with managing technical and commercial risks.
Responsibilities
* Create high-quality proposal materials (Proposals, Narratives, Presentations, RFIs, Project Schedules, etc.)
* Maintain the Client’s vision throughout the Project Development process
* Facilitate internal development of creative and technical solutions
* Use relationships to resolve challenges, conflicts, or disputes within projects
* Support review of cost estimates and establish sales pricing aligned with Client expectations
* Identify opportunities for skill development and process improvements
* Perform duties in accordance with company policies and expectations
Position Requirements
* Experience in Project Management, Business Development, Construction Management, or Technical Development, preferably within Entertainment, Design, or Architectural industries
* Experience reviewing Scope of Works, Tender Specifications, Drawing Packages, and other Client deliverables
* Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, etc.)
* Experience developing and delivering high-quality proposal packages
