We're currently recruiting a dedicated and flexible Facilities Operative (with Cleaning Duties) to support the daily upkeep and smooth running of our Central Office at Lombard House in Belfast. ?? About the role As our new Facilities Operative, you'll play a key role in keeping our workspace safe, clean, and welcoming for staff, leaseholders and visitors. This is a varied and hands-on role where you'll help with everything from day-to-day cleaning and facilities support to preparing rooms for events and reporting maintenance issues. This is more than just a cleaning job, it's an opportunity to contribute to a team that puts people first and delivers real impact every day. This is a 30hr per week permnanent role and the successful candidate will be required to work a regular 12:00pm to 6pm shift, Monday to Friday as well as being flexible to cover an 8:00-2:00pm shift during periods of annual leave/absence ?? What you'll do Ensure high standards of cleanliness across bathrooms, offices, meeting rooms and kitchens Deep clean carpets, furnishings and building exteriors as needed Manage cleaning materials and ensure safe storage Support the wider facilities team with set-ups, minor repairs, and building checks Prepare rooms for meetings and events, including hospitality provision Assist in building security, liaising with external contractors and monitoring CCTV Accept and route deliveries, distribute internal mail, and monitor heating/air con systems Be flexible to take on Front of House duties when required ?? About you We're looking for someone who is: Proactive, practical and able to multitask in a fast-paced setting Flexible to occasionally work additional hours or weekends when needed Capable of lifting, carrying, and manual handling as part of day-to-day duties Friendly, reliable, and a great team player ? Essential criteria You'll need: 2 GCSEs (Grade C or above, or equivalent), including English and Maths plus 1 years experience in a similar role OR 2 years' experience in a similar role Strong time management and organisational skills A commitment to Inspire's values: inclusive, passionate, determined, kind, honest and innovative ??
