Overview
Events Safety Officer role at Paddle UK. Salary: £24,225 to £28,000 per annum. Working pattern: Full time, 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with occasional evening and weekend work. Closing Date: 1st October. Interview Date: 14th October.

The Role
Are you passionate about supporting safe and successful events? Join our Competition and Events Team as an Event Safety Officer, where you will help ensure Paddle UK events run smoothly and safely.
Responsibilities
* Act as the first point of contact for event safety queries and be at the heart of our operations.
* Oversee safety compliance through event recognition processes.
* Sample and review risk assessments to ensure best practice.
* Manage accurate record keeping and data capture.
* Provide essential administrative support to the team.
* Assist in developing resources and guidance for event safety officers.
We value a keen eye for detail, strong organisational skills, and a proactive problem-solving approach. Experience in event safety or compliance is a plus, but enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are important.
