The Role Kensington Prep is seeking an outstanding and enthusiastic Visiting Music Teacher (Singing) to join our thriving Music Department from September 2026. We are looking for a candidate to work part-time, two days a week to provide one to one singing lessons. The successful candidate will be a highly skilled pianist with a strong pedagogical approach and excellent collaborative skills. Visiting Music Teachers are independent, self-employed professionals who are supported by the Director of Music and are integral to the musical life of the school. To deliver approximately 30 weekly high-quality one-to-one piano lessons to pupils across the school, from beginner to advanced level. To contribute actively to the musical life of the department through collaboration with staff, visiting teachers and pupils. The GDST are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, and applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service.
