Salary: £30,000–£40,000 DOE

We’re hiring a UX Researcher to join a purpose-led online retail organisation processing over 20M products annually.
The Opportunity – UX Researcher
This UX Researcher role sits at the intersection of Product, UX/UI and Marketing. You will own research across the full digital customer journey — from discovery to checkout — ensuring user insight directly drives conversion, retention and engagement.
You’ll combine qualitative research, behavioural analytics and competitor benchmarking to optimise performance across multiple websites and brands.
This is a commercially focused UX Researcher position where insight must translate into measurable impact.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver end-to-end UX research across websites and digital journeys
* Conduct usability testing, interviews, surveys and discovery research
* Analyse behavioural cohorts and customer segments
* Translate findings into archetypes and actionable insight
* Partner with UX/UI to optimise layout, navigation and usability
* Collaborate with Marketing on campaign performance and content engagement
* Analyse product discovery behaviour and purchasing patterns
* Conduct competitor benchmarking within the online retail market
* Present concise, evidence-led recommendations to stakeholders
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience as a UX Researcher across the full research lifecycle
* Strong qualitative and quantitative research capability
* Experience with GA4, Hotjar, Clarity, ContentSquare or FullStory
* Strong understanding of acquisition and conversion journeys
* Experience working cross-functionally in agile teams
* Commercial awareness – balancing user needs with business goals
* Experience with experimentation tools (Monetate, AB Tasty, VWO) is desirable
* Familiarity with Figma, Miro or Adobe XD is advantageous
