Overview
Aspris College North Wales are recruiting for an Occupational Therapist to join our Therapy team. We are looking for enthusiastic, caring and passionate people to become an integral part of our therapy team. The successful candidate will join our multi-disciplinary team, which may suit someone experienced in a special needs environment or newly qualified, who will be required to work closely with other Speech and Language Therapists and other professionals providing support to students; reporting to the Therapy Manager.
Responsibilities
* Collaborate within a multidisciplinary therapy team to provide occupational therapy assessment and interventions for students aged 16-25 with Autistic Spectrum Condition and related needs.
* Work closely with Speech and Language Therapists and other professionals to support student independence, education and communication goals.
* Contribute to programme planning and delivery of bespoke tailored programmes including therapies.
Qualifications
* Registered occupational therapist with BSc Occupational Therapy or profession specific equivalent qualification.
* Willingness to undergo safeguarding checks appropriate to the post (including DBS/ PVG) and provide at least two references covering the last three years.

We work in partnership with College Cambria to deliver mainstream education with tailored support in education, independence and communication skills.
