Major Job Functions
1. Preventative Maintenance Servicing (routine servicing of equipment, oil samples) – 75%
2. Machine Inspection (visual/mechanical analysis, system issues) – 20%
3. Minor Repairs (minor repairs, telematic systems, undercarriage inspections) – 5%

Specific Skills
Basic knowledge of Engines, Hydraulics, Powertrain, Vehicle Electrics/Electronics related to heavy mobile plant.
Accountability
Attend customer sites, perform preventive maintenance, liaise with clients, ensure safety and quality standards, complete paperwork accurately, and maintain company vehicle and equipment.
Education and Experience
Approximately 3 years experience or related engineering background (car mechanic, HGV fitter, military vehicle experience, apprenticeship with C&G level 1). Health & Safety training preferred but not essential.
This role offers training and career progression into field service roles.
