As Procurement & Contracts Manager, you'll play a key role in supporting the delivery of unforgettable experiences for millions of visitors each year. From spectacular public events and exhibitions to creative campaigns, uniforms, catering, and professional services, you'll oversee an excitingly varied portfolio of contracts worth around £30 million annually .
You'll work closely with senior leaders and project teams, providing strategic procurement expertise across multiple sites steeped in history and culture. This is a hands-on role that combines technical skill with relationship-building, diplomacy, and a genuine passion for supporting work that preserves and celebrates the nation's story.
What You'll Be Doing
Managing a broad range of procurement and contract activities across diverse categories - from creative and event production to consultancy and training.
Advising and partnering with senior stakeholders on strategic sourcing decisions via Public Sector procurement frameworks/regulations (experience in this is required!)
Leading compliant and pragmatic procurement approaches under current UK Public Sector procurement regulations.
Tackling tail-end spend and identifying opportunities for efficiency and value creation.
Getting out and about - connecting with teams, understanding their needs, and helping them deliver exceptional visitor experiences.
What You'll Bring
Strong technical procurement expertise with proven experience in Public Sector environments (PCR 2015 / PA 2023).
MCIPS qualification or equivalent capability.
A personable, confident style - able to engage and influence at all levels.
A flexible, pragmatic approach - solutions-focused rather than process-bound.
The ability to juggle multiple priorities with pace and professionalism.
Based within easy reach of SW London, with availability to work on-site two days per week.
