A welcoming Good primary in Sutton seeks an imaginative Reception Teacher to lead a play-focused, language-rich Reception class on a Full-Time basis from January 2026. The successful Reception Teacher will join a supportive Early Years team, begin planning and handover prior to January 2026, attend induction in January 2026, and teach from January 2026 as a Full-Time Reception Teacher.

• Full-Time Reception Teacher to receive induction and coaching from January 2026.
Reception Teacher Responsibilities
• The Reception Teacher will plan continuous provision and focussed adult-led sessions that build language and number fluency.
• The Reception Teacher will lead daily phonics, early reading and early maths activities and use observations to plan next steps as the Reception Teacher.
• The Reception Teacher will engage parents through workshops and regular communication and will support smooth transitions into Year 1; the Reception Teacher will begin transition work before January 2026 and will continue after January 2026.
Reception Teacher Requirements
• QTS or EYTS and strong Reception experience expected of the Reception Teacher.
• A Reception Teacher with a creative, nurturing approach and excellent communication skills.
• The Reception Teacher must be available for planning before January 2026, induction in January 2026, and teaching as a Full-Time Reception Teacher from January 2026.
