Due to the continued growth of King and Moffatt Building Services, we are now looking to add to our Design team based in our Edinburgh office.
What You Would Do
* Modelling, drawing and coordinating mechanical and electrical designs to ensure projects can be constructed with little or no rework once the site team commence work.
* Attendance on weekly internal model and design team meetings and project BIM meetings with the main contractors.
* Ensuring the latest models, drawings and designs from all other stakeholders are being used and notifying engineers and site team of any changes to these models or drawings.
* Generating Revit models from the senior engineers outputs (sketches / hevacomp / cymap / DIALux / Relux).
* Creation of Revit families where manufacturer files are not available.
* Model Skids & Modules to allow K&M offsite to manufacture and deliver to site.
* Manage clash reporting and clash resolution between disciplines.
* Maintain ACC / BIM360 cloud models & reporting.
* Provide technical assistance to project team where required while project is ongoing.
* Integration of Cloud Point Surveys.
* Ensure compliance with all project BIM documentation.
* Comply with all EHSQ policies and procedures as required.
Qualifications
* Previous Revit MEP experience in the construction/building services field.
* Relevant qualification in BIM or Mechanical or Electrical engineering is beneficial.
* Ability to communicate in a professional and timely manner (in person and over email).
