We are seeking a highly experienced Interim Financial Controller to join a dynamic manufacturing business in Carlisle. This is a hands-on, interim position ideal for a professional with a strong manufacturing finance background who can hit the ground running.
Key Responsibilities:
Take ownership of the finance function on an interim basis, ensuring continuity and operational excellence.
Manage financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
Oversee management accounts, cash flow, and financial reporting.
Support strategic decision-making with insightful financial analysis.
Drive improvements in systems, processes, and reporting.
Lead and mentor a small finance team, ensuring compliance and best practice.
Essential Experience:
Proven experience as a Financial Controller within a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of management accounts, cash flow, and financial reporting.
Interim or contract experience preferred.
Hands-on, practical approach with the ability to work independently.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence at all levels.
