The team in Maidenhead is one of the firm’s largest hubs, with a strong flow of privately funded work and a stable, loyal client base. You’ll be stepping into an existing caseload and joining a close-knit group of five solicitors plus a partner and paralegal, offering day-to-day collaboration and real-time learning in a supportive environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll take on a varied, privately funded caseload across the full spectrum of family law, including:
Children matters
* Acting on a wide range of private children issues, from contact arrangements to more nuanced disputes requiring careful judgement and tact.
Financial remedy work
* Managing cases involving marital finances, property, pensions, and negotiations between separating couples, with the chance to grow your expertise on more complex matters over time.
Relationship breakdown and divorce
* Handling divorce proceedings and associated negotiations, helping clients to reduce conflict and understand the best routes forward.
Nuptial agreements and cohabitation matters
* Drafting clear, protective agreements and advising on the practical implications of relationship planning.
Work arrives via the team’s established reputation, and the partner you will work most closely with.
You’ll work directly alongside a highly experienced senior solicitor who is keen on close collaboration. This means immediate access to guidance, shared thinking on cases, and regular involvement in strategy, a strong environment for a junior to grow with confidence and support.
About You
* Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive, ideally NQ–4 PQE.
* Comfortable managing your own files with supervision available when needed.
* Clear communicator with a calm, grounded approach to client relationships.
