My client, a leader in advanced defence technology, is seeking a Senior Radar Systems Mathematical Modeller to join their dynamic team on the Isle of Wight. What you'll be doing:
* Developing and evolving mathematical models and simulations to support high-performance radar systems
* Identifying system enhancements through modelling, and proposing innovative algorithmic solutions
* Supporting multi-disciplinary teams to implement and verify real-world radar performance
* Analysing system performance and trade-offs to refine design decisions across various operational scenarios
* Using post-trial data to inform future radar development and provide evidence for system acceptance
* Applying systems engineering principles to drive end-to-end radar solution development
What we're looking for:
1. A strong mathematical and engineering background with a problem-solving mindset
2. Proficiency in simulation and modelling tools such as MATLAB, Simulink, Python, MathCAD or similar
