CNC Machinist
Location: Lincoln
Pay: £16.50 per hour (PAYE) / £22.30 per hour (Umbrella)
Shifts: Rotating - 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm / 10pm-6am

Were looking for an experienced CNC Machinist to join a leading precision engineering team in Lincoln. In this role, youll set up and operate CNC machinery to manufacture gas turbine components to strict engineering and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision-engineered components.
* Work from detailed engineering drawings and specifications.
* Prepare, measure, and inspect components to meet quality requirements.
* Perform basic machine programming and maintenance as required.
* Work collaboratively with maintenance and engineering teams to resolve technical issues.
* Maintain a safe, clean, and organised work area in line with health and safety standards.
What Were Looking For:
* Experience working in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
* Strong CNC machining background – apprentice-trained preferred, but not essential.
* NVQ or equivalent qualification in CNC machining or a related engineering discipline.
* Confident using CNC machine tool controls and applications.
* Good IT skills (Word, Excel) and written communication.
* Safety‑conscious with a proactive and detail‑oriented approach.
