Reablement Support Worker 8588
Permanent contract | £19,188 to £20,451 per annum (Scale E) | 27.75 hours per week | Elizabeth House, Dereham. Working in Poringland areas, Wymondham and Watton
Working pattern over two weeks including weekends and bank holidays.

Here at Norfolk First Response we work with a reablement ethos, working alongside people in their homes to make a positive difference. We aim to help them regain their previous abilities within 6 weeks following a period of ill health or change in circumstances and our Support Workers (Reablement) are a key part of that. Find out more about a day in the life of a Support Worker (Reablement) here. The vacancy is 27.75 hours per week, working in the Poringland, Wymondham and Watton areas. You will work a range of mornings (7.30am to 1.30pm) and evenings (4pm to 8.30pm) with the hours averaged out over a two-week rota, enabling you to plan in advance to maintain a healthy work-life balance.
Responsibilities
* Provide reablement support to help people regain previous abilities within 6 weeks following ill health or a change in circumstances.
* Work in clients' homes in the Poringland, Wymondham and Watton areas as part of a two-week rota.
* Cover a mix of mornings and evenings (7.30am–1.30pm; 4.00pm–8.30pm) with hours averaged over two weeks.
* Support customers to maintain confidence and independence in daily activities.

You need to be caring, empathetic and committed to making a difference to people’s lives with the ability to easily commute to people’s homes in North Norfolk, so you will need a full driving licence and access to a vehicle. Previous experience is not required as full training will be given.
