Paralegal / Legal Executive Land Development & New Homes Location: Newark, Nottinghamshire Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Salary: Dependent on Experience The Opportunity An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Paralegal or Legal Executive to join a well-established and highly regarded regional law firm in Newark. This role sits within a specialist Land Development & New Homes team and is ideal for candidates with experience in conveyancing, residential property, land law, infrastructure or development-related legal work. You will work closely with Partners and senior fee earners, supporting a varied caseload while contributing to client service delivery, fee income and departmental growth. Key Responsibilities Manage a caseload of fee-earning work in line with quality and risk procedures Deliver a high standard of client care and service delivery Support Partners and Fee Earners with business development activity Assist in the growth of the Land Development & New Homes department Maintain accurate time recording and billing processes Contribute to fee income targets and overall financial performance Ensure compliance with Solicitors Accounts Rules and AML regulations Keep up to date with property law, conveyancing and wider legal developments Support cross-referrals across the wider firm About You Experience as a Paralegal or Legal Executive Strong background in conveyancing, residential property or land development Knowledge of part exchanges, section agreements and infrastructure transactions Understanding of Solicitors Accounts Rules and Money Laundering Regulations Confident using case management systems and Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel Highly organised with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines Professional, detail-focused and process-driven Desirable Experience Experience within new homes or land development legal work Familiarity with systems such as SOS Connect or Visual Files Why Apply Join a respected regional law firm with a strong reputation Work within a specialist land development and new homes team Exposure to high-quality, complex property matters Opportunity to develop your career and technical expertise Supportive, professional working environment Apply Now If you are a Paralegal or Legal Executive with conveyancing or land development experience, apply today for immediate consideration.
