What This Role Is All About
We’re looking for an analytics professional to join our Sales Analytics team at Vitality, supporting the Direct Contact Centre within the Direct-to-Consumer space. Over recent years, we’ve modernised our reporting by moving to Power BI and enabling self-service dashboards. Our focus is now on delivering deeper insights and developing advanced analytical models to optimise contact centre performance and drive data-informed decisions.
Key Actions
* Accountable for the day-to-day performance analytics of the department across all campaigns.
* Driving the real-time performance of the Contact Centre operation through the provision of meaningful insight, opportunity analysis and commentary.
* Able to recognise potential under performance quickly so that the necessary steps and changes can be taken real time to recover the performance with minimal impact.
* Owner of and responsible for the development of senior stakeholder operational reporting dashboards with support from analysts.
* Providing information to effectively manage resource to ensure any all FTE are fully utilised and productive.
* Key stakeholder in the design and management of contact strategies to optimise conversion.
* Close enough to the operation to act as a bridge between the operational management teams and the wider BI/MI communities as required.
* Highly responsive when identifying performance problems or improvement opportunities, working with urgency and diligence to find robust solutions.
What Do You Need To Thrive?
* Intermediate SQL and Advanced Excel and Power BI
* Interest or knowledge of working with Python (ideally but not essential)
* 3+ years’ experience working in an analytics role with experience in insight production
* Experience of using large and varied data sets to yield credible, effective insights
* A good understanding and knowledge of the insurance industry as well as an understanding of contact centres (ideally but not essential)
* Professional maturity, able to operate effectively with senior stakeholders
* Ability to multi-task, prioritise activities, and meet deadlines/targets
