About the Role

Lead the vision and shape the future of learners – join our team as Head of Business, Accounting, and Travel & Tourism. As a Head of Curriculum at EKC Group, you will be responsible for managing a programme area and promoting high standards in a positive and supportive culture that aspires to be outstanding. You will lead a dedicated team, fostering a culture of excellence and actively promoting outstanding teaching and learning. You will bring creativity and innovation to curriculum design, ensuring it is responsive to the diverse needs of all students. In addition, you will take responsibility for managing a delegated budget and driving continuous improvement across the department.

About You

Our ambition is to find an experienced yet innovative and proactive individual to join our management team to take forward and shape the future of the department. The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring that curriculum delivery is of the highest quality whilst ensuring the required support is in place to help all learners thrive and achieve in our dynamic teaching and learning environment.

* Proven track record of raising standards, with genuine passion for improvement.
* Ability to motivate a team.
* Up‑to‑date industry knowledge and a good understanding of current practices.
* Commitment to excellence, with a clear focus on delivery and strategic understanding.

To be successful in this role, you will hold a degree level qualification and a recognised teaching qualification (DET/PGCE/CertEd). With demonstrable teaching practice at good or outstanding level, you will also have experience of curriculum planning and development and a proven ability to manage and lead an experienced, professional team to deliver results.
