Job title\: Product Manager – Display and Control Systems Location\: Warton – We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role Salary\: £54,793 (depending on skills and experience) What you’ll be doing: Responsible for the delivery of DC L3 design, software products across multiple programmes Lead and support external reviews, both within the business and externally to customer and suppliers, representing DC Lead internal programme/delivery reviews at appropriate intervals Responsible for definition of Statements of Work (SOWs) and generation of estimates for new business Co-ordination and integration of DC product with Avionics integration team Act as the natural delegation path for System Design Responsibility (SDR) where required Support the Platform Systems Integration lead in generating SDU performance metrics Create, update and manage D&C Programmes Hold Programme / Milestone reviews with D&C Team leads and Avionics Integrators Your skills and experiences: Essential: Educated to a degree level within an engineering subject or equivalent with an appropriate engineering background Experience working on Displays and Controls or other Avionics Systems Strong Mission Systems/Software Engineering background within avionics Ability to effectively communicate and influence at all levels of the organisation and with the Customer is essential and experience working with suppliers would be beneficial Experience producing estimates for new business Experience managing budgets and project control Experience in leading systems engineering practices and procedures Experience understanding technical requirements and contracts. The Integration – Display and Controls Team: The Integration Team plays a pivotal role within the Mission & Information Systems Service Delivery Unit, driving delivery of complex sub-systems that support key defence programmes. As part of this team, the Displays & Controls (DC) group leads the design, integration, and delivery of advanced DC products, ensuring they meet demanding customer and programme requirements. Working at the heart of the Platform Systems department, the team collaborates with System Design Responsibility (SDR) leads, avionics integrators, and programme stakeholders across the full development lifecycle.
