Our Client, a leading international bank, is hiring for a reputed organisation to support their technology teams in the UK. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic, global environment and contribute to the delivery of critical IT services.
What you'll be doing:
Take end-to-end ownership of Area COO activities, including financial, workforce, and third-party/vendor management.
Support the design and delivery of strategic initiatives, developing business cases and validating benefits for transformation projects.
Lead and develop the global business management team within the Area.
Manage a significant annual operating plan across approximately 65 countries, identifying and delivering savings to meet targets.
Oversee workforce planning, requisitions, off-boarding, and rate setting, ensuring accurate billing and cost recovery.
Perform vendor management tasks, including risk assessment, performance review, negotiations, and procurement processes.
Handle purchase-to-pay activities, including purchase order creation, spend approvals, and invoice processing.
Provide financial reporting and management information to support decision-making.
What you'll bring:
Extensive experience in business management within financial services or technology functions.
Strong understanding of financial principles, including cost management, budgeting, and accounting practices.
Proven ability to develop business cases and manage multi-million dollar global programs.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across all levels.
Familiarity with financial management tools such as Oracle Fusion or Apptio is preferred.
Experience working within diverse, global teams and managing complex projects.
Adaptability to changing priorities and working under pressure.
Required Education & Certifications:
Relevant professional qualifications in finance or business management are advantageous.
