Avebury House Children's Home is recruiting for Senior Residential Support Workers now! We seek enthusiastic, caring, and passionate individuals to join our support team. In this role, you will support our young people and be responsible for providing compassionate care. You will also support the Registered Manager in running a successful staff team and overseeing daily operations.

Located in Shepton Mallet, Avebury House Children’s Home provides nurturing care for up to 6 children and young people with autism and learning difficulties. The home operates 38 weeks per year (term time only), with shifts on weekdays only.

We pride ourselves on offering a clear career pathway and training. As long as you demonstrate the values needed for residential childcare, we will support your development!


Essential Qualifications and Experience:

Level 3 qualification in Children’s Residential and Childcare

Experience in residential childcare

Organisation: Confidently updating care plans and reporting relevant information.
