Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook a variety of healthy, appealing dishes for residents and staff
* Cater to individual dietary requirements and preferences (including allergens and modified textures)
* Work closely with the care team to ensure residents’ nutritional needs are met
* Maintain the highest standards of food hygiene, safety, and cleanliness
* Assist with menu planning, stock control, and ordering
* Support special occasions and themed days within the home
What We’re Looking For
* Previous experience as a Chef, Cook, or Senior Kitchen Assistant (care, education, or contract catering background an advantage)
* A passion for creating homely, comforting meals with care and attention
* Understanding of dietary needs, allergens, and nutritional balance
* Experience with IDSSI framework
* Strong organisational skills and a calm, team-focused approach
* A genuine interest in working with older people and contributing to their wellbeing
