KM3 POSITION PURPOSE The Senior Investment Liaison (IL) partners with Fixed Income investment teams, including Portfolio Managers (PMs) and Portfolio Specialists (PSs), to support the end‑to‑end client lifecycle. Acting as a trusted operational partner to Investments, Senior IL applies deep business, technical, and market expertise to manage complex investment‑related operational activities. This includes ensuring portfolio readiness, coordinating with analytical and operational partners, communicating portfolio and strategy changes, and enabling the effective implementation of investment decisions. Through this role, Senior IL enables investment teams to focus on portfolio management and delivering strong long‑term outcomes for clients. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES Serve as the senior operational point of contact and subject matter expert for assigned investment strategies, ensuring operational readiness of proprietary products and client portfolios. Independently support day‑to‑day portfolio management activities, including guideline review, corporate action communication, model portfolio development, maintenance of custom structures, and oversight of bespoke client requirements. Provide operational support to Investment teams and governance forums, including preparation of senior‑level materials. Deliver accurate, timely, and insightful portfolio‑level analysis to support complex investment decisions and client inquiries. Identify trends and, in partnership with key stakeholders, develop and implement enhanced reporting and analytics to meet evolving investment and client needs. Ensure the integrity and timely distribution of attribution, risk, and customised portfolio reporting. Produce non‑standard analysis using custom benchmarks, asset classifications, and return methodologies to support product development, sales, and client retention. Lead the resolution of complex investment‑related issues to mitigate operational, regulatory, and compliance risk. Maintain awareness of regulatory developments impacting Fixed Income strategies and proactively communicate implications to investment teams. Ensure portfolios and investment decisions comply with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies, including alignment across client and TRP product guidelines, escalation and resolution of compliance matters, client communications, and oversight of GIPS composite reviews. Contribute to firm‑wide initiatives supporting investment data and system enhancements. Depending on business needs and individual capability, act as a subject matter expert, business analyst, user acceptance tester, or project manager on critical initiatives. Represent Investments in communicating strategy changes to Marketing and Operations, including benchmark updates, expansion into new markets or instruments, and investment team changes. Assess impacts to reporting, data, and digital platforms, and independently lead cross‑functional teams to ensure timely and effective implementation. Familiarity with AI‑enabled tools and digital solutions used to support investment analysis, reporting, and operational efficiency. Ability to evaluate opportunities to leverage AI and digital solutions responsibly, in partnership with Technology, Data, and Risk stakeholders, while adhering to governance and control standards PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES / SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS Required Strong knowledge of Fixed Income markets and their application across investment, operational, and marketing processes Experience using AI‑enabled tools or advanced analytics platforms (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, data analytics, automation, or reporting tools) to enhance decision‑making, efficiency, or insight generation Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence outcomes and build strong partnerships Advanced understanding of accounting, trading, performance, and risk concepts Proven ability to negotiate and collaborate effectively across organisational levels Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to accuracy in investment and regulatory reporting Ability to diagnose and resolve technology and data issues, including advanced Excel, SQL, and vendor platforms (e.g., Bloomberg, PORT) Ability to prioritise competing demands in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment and can translate complex issues into clear, actionable outcomes Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting CFA charterholder or progressing towards it. Demonstrated analytical and quantitative capability, including development of enhanced investment reporting. Ability to use Python, Power BI, automation, and other reporting tools to enhance current processes, operational efficiency, and insight generation. Experience with market data and vendor platforms (e.g., Bloomberg PORT, JPM Markets) Relevant experience within Fixed Income Work Flexibility This role is eligible for hybrid work, with up to one day a week from home.
