Overview
Senior Building Services Engineer (Electrical). We are looking to appoint a Senior Building Services Engineer (Electrical) to join our collaborative and talented team of engineers. This role will be based from our Leicester office. You will deliver technical and commercial solutions for a range of clients across private and public sectors, including education, custodial, defence, healthcare, data, leisure and commercial sectors. You will be supported with training, guidance and genuine scope for career development.
Responsibilities
* Deliver portfolios of work across both the private and public sector.
* Prepare designs, feasibility studies, reports and contract documents.
* Carry out building analysis.
* Liaise directly with Clients and Contractors.
* Ensure projects are delivered on time.
* Support and mentor junior engineers and trainees.
* Comply with Health & Safety requirements, practices and procedures.
About You / Qualifications
* HND/Degree or equivalent professional qualification.
* Knowledge and understanding of BS7671.
* Familiarity with electrical and lighting design software such as Hevacomp/Amtech/Dialux.
* Excellent communication skills, collaborative and self-motivated.
* Experience with Revit MEP.
* Fire alarm and emergency lighting design experience.
* Hands-on knowledge and understanding of AutoCAD.
* Structured wiring system and security system design experience.
* Knowledge of current legislation e.g. Scotland Building Regulations, Low/Zero Carbon Technologies and BREEAM.
