Salary: Up to £29,000 DOE
Contract: 12 month Fixed Term Contract
Location: London/Hybrid
Hours: Mon- Fri 9am to 5pm (some evening/weekend events)
Holiday: 33 Days, inc. BH (pro rata)

The Royal Aeronautical Society (RAeS) is seeking a motivated Careers and Education Officer to join our Education, Skills & Diversity team on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract
This is a varied, outward-facing role supporting careers guidance, education outreach, events and digital resources across aerospace and aviation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the delivery of schools, university and careers programmes (in-person and online)
* Provide impartial careers advice, including 1-to-1 guidance and workshops
* Assist with planning and delivery of careers events and recruitment fairs
* Support scholarships, grants and schools projects administration
* Create and maintain digital careers content
* Build strong relationships with schools, employers and partners
* Represent RAeS at external events across the UK
About You
Essential:
* Degree-level education or equivalent experience (careers, education, STEM or outreach)
* Experience organising events or programmes
* Experience delivering presentations or workshops
* Strong communication, administration and data-handling skills
* Highly organised, adaptable and proactive
* Passion for careers, education and widening participation
Desirable:
* Experience in education, aerospace, aviation or not-for-profit sectors
* Knowledge of CRM systems and digital content creation
* Experience working with young people, volunteers or committees
Additional Information:
* Willingness to travel and work occasional evenings/weekends
* Ability to support event set-up
* The Successful candidate will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check
