Maintenance Engineer The purpose of this role is to provide engineering support within the maintenance team and be responsible for the maintenance and repair of site premises, production machinery and equipment in a fast-paced heavy industrial steel environment. This multi-skilled role requires a wide scope approach, which, amongst other areas will evolve working on electrical, electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical systems. Working Hours – 3 x shift pattern: Morning Shifts Monday to Thursday - 06:00hrs to 14:00hrs – 20 min unpaid meal break Friday - 06:00hrs to 11:40hrs – 20 min unpaid meal break Afternoons Shifts Monday to Thursday - 14:00hrts to 22:00hrs – 20 min unpaid meal break Friday - 11:40hrs to 17:50hrs – 20 min unpaid meal break Saturday or Sunday - 06:00hrs to 16:00hrs – 20 min unpaid meal break (Saturday or Sunday is agreed with team leader) Nights Monday to Thursday - 22:00hrs to 06:00hrs Friday night - NO SHIFT What is expected of you; * Perform routine, preventative and corrective maintenance * Diagnose, troubleshoot equipment malfunctions/failures * Be responsible for the maintenance and repair of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic & hydraulic systems and equipment on site. * Identify opportunities for improvement of equipment reliability, efficiency, sustainability and safety. * Provide technical support to the production te...
